Here is what you need to know:
- After 3/1/2012, www.vanguardofwar.net will point to the new site.
- Until then, use thevow.enjin.com (no w's) to get to the new site.
- EARLY BIRD SPECIAL - current members who joins the new site before 3/1/12 will not have to "apply" to join. After the deadline, you will have to fill out a guild app (yes, we'll approve you, but what a nuisance, eh?).
- When you join, add your characters, put them on a WoW or ToR "team," and fill out your profile. Enjin is a community, so you can post on others' walls and express yo'self.
- MUMBLE voice client instead of Ventrilo
- Instructions are at thevow.enjin.com...Forums...Mumble
- All you need to do is install the client then LOG IN to the SITE. Choose JOIN SERVER in the Mumble box on the main page at thevow.enjin.com.
- We have room for 35 talkers and can upgrade.
- Mumble is designed from the ground up for gamers by gamers, nearly zero-latency - no more Vent lag!
- Typefrag Ventrilo has been great for SIX YEARS, but it's time to move on.
- We're working with a new rank structure where in-game in each game and site admins will all be related but different. We want to reward interest and ability. If you would like to help with the site, please let me know.
- The new site is YOURS. I just help run it.

Ok, EZ Mode, sprinkled with a few fruits and nuts (puggers) - but MUCH fun, and great to have a twenty-five-man raid again! Congrats, everyone. The scenery is great!

We're having a VERY important guild meeting and ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 11. We'll aim for the usual 6pm Server Time in sunny Darnassus, but we will make other arrangements if need-be, so pay attention
.Quite a few are interested in trying Star Wars. See th forum threads and join in the conversation. We are using this website to communicate so that we keep EVERYTHING going strong - WoW, The VoW, and the new venture. This guild ceremony is therefore very important! Treat it like you would a team meeting for a softball team, bowling league, or club of some kind.
Finally - we would like very much to commission some artwork of all of us. We will be taking a guild "picture" at the ceremony, so Transmogrify yo'self to prettiness
and get yo' groove on. We think we can have the screenshot turned into a poster for a reasonable price - at least we're going to try. -
We are grateful for all you who make The VoW such a great guild to game in. We wish all of you a very happy and meaningful Thanksgiving holiday - including you Canadians and Colombianos out there, and especially our men and women still in military service. At Thanksgiving, we remember that our blessings are not our own nor made of our own hands but gifts from our Maker. God bless.

The VoW recognizes that our service men and women make it possible for us to live in freedom, worship according to our conscience, and speak our mind. We are mindful that while we devote /played hours (days?) to WoW, they are risking their lives, being separated from their loved ones, and doing the seemingly impossible with excellence and grace.
